The purpose of this site is to solicit inputs to the existing ERC Best Practices Manual (toolbar button above) from ERC staff and faculty. Our objective is to update the various chapters of the Manual periodically, using those inputs as "raw material." We encourage registered users to post on the message board:

• descriptions of novel practices and approaches that have proved successful in their center, giving key factors for success
• descriptions of practices that have NOT worked, focusing on reasons why and lessons learned
• comments on specific aspects of the existing Manual (agreement, disagreement, elaboration, update, etc.)

Inputs may be in any usable form, including brief summaries, case studies, informal notes, links to other sites, attached files (not lengthy, please!), etc. Users may comment on previous inputs in any established topical "thread."
